The 15.6-inch NV Series has also received a revamp in its design. It now features a "wave" pattern on its matte chassis lid, a Chiclet-style keyboard, and a silver/white color. Each notebook also comes with a Gateway MyBackup function key for safeguarding and taking notebook data on the go. The series is equipped with a 6-cell Li-ion (4400 mAh) battery, an HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, a media card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and an 8x DVD SuperMulti double-layer optical drive. The Gateway NV Series have a starting price of $630 USD and $549 CAD and are available now in the US and Canada through select retailers.
